Here's what I love: Fridays!
Who doesn't!?
On this lovely Friday, I've
been working on a post about one of the hardest jobs in the world, but it's not
finished, so you'll have to wait to read it.
Meanwhile, did you know that tomorrow is the 30 Abes meal packing event??? That's where a bunch of volunteers will attempt to pack HALF A
MILLION meals in just ONE hour. Do
you think we can do it? If we do,
it will break a world record for meal packing. (Who knew there was such a thing??)
The friendly folks from THE Guinness Book of World Records will be there
to time the event. The planners
are hoping that about 1,600 volunteers will show up. I’ll be there with my two minions to help out. I have no idea if we will be a help or
a hindrance. I’m sorta nervous
actually.
If you are a little nervous about it too—you can still come help
out! That’s right, I found out
yesterday, that you can just show up
tomorrow at Nashville Municipal Auditorium before
9:00AM and be part of this record-breaking fun!
It will all be over by lunchtime and there will be famous people there.
So, come on down!
Remember, these meals we are packing are being sent directly to Haiti to
feed orphans. It’s a good
thing.
What better thing could you possibly be doing on a Saturday
morning?! Sleeping? Come on, you can sleep any ol’
day. There’s no world record for
that! (Well, there probably is,
but not for you!)
Hope to see you tomorrow!
xxoo
